How to Type ē (E with macron) on Google Docs
Need ē on Google Docs for a name, an address or a word in another language? You do not have to copy it from a website every time. The fastest method is Insert → Special characters, and there are a few backups below for when that one is not available.
ē on Google Docs: Insert → Special characters
Ē on Google Docs: Insert → Special characters
Or copy it:
Method 1: Special characters menu

Method 2: Use your computer's shortcut
Docs accepts whatever your operating system types. On Windows use the Win+. symbols panel; on a Mac use Unicode Hex Input (hold Option and type 0113); on a Chromebook press Ctrl+Shift+U, type 0113 and press Space.
