Vietnamese Accented Letters: Complete List to Copy and Paste

Vietnamese stacks tone marks on top of vowel diacritics, giving letters such as ầ, ế and ữ, and adds đ. It has more precomposed accented letters than any other language.
On Windows, the fastest built-in route is an Alt code, for example Alt+0224 for à. On a Mac, press Option+`, then A. On phones, add the Vietnamese keyboard so every letter sits on the long-press menu. The full typing guide has a chart for every letter.
Capital letters
Every lowercase Vietnamese letter above has a capital form, and you should keep the accent on capitals. Dropping accents from capitals is an old typewriter habit; modern style guides for most languages, including the official French and Spanish academies, recommend keeping them.
Sorting and searching Vietnamese text
Computers sort accented letters by code point unless told otherwise, which can put them after z. Use a locale-aware sort (for example localeCompare with the Vietnamese locale in JavaScript, or a Vietnamese collation in your database) so lists follow Vietnamese alphabetical order.
