How to Type ò (O with grave) on iPhone

Need ò on iPhone for a name, an address or a word in another language? You do not have to copy it from a website every time. The fastest method is Hold o, and there are a few backups below for when that one is not available.

Method 1: Long-press the letter

  1. Open the keyboard in any app.
  2. Touch and hold the o key.
  3. Slide your finger to ò and lift it.

ò is on the long-press menu of the default English keyboard and Gboard shows a similar set.

Method 2: Add the Italian keyboard

  1. Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards.
  2. Tap Add New Keyboard and choose Italian.
  3. Tap the globe key to switch while typing.
