How to Type ĕ (E with breve) on Microsoft Word

Need ĕ on Microsoft Word for a name, an address or a word in another language? You do not have to copy it from a website every time. The fastest method is 0115 then Alt+X, and there are a few backups below for when that one is not available.

Method 1: Alt+X Unicode trick

  1. Type 0115 where you want the letter.
  2. Press Alt+X. Word turns the code into ĕ.
