Capital letters
Every lowercase Hawaiian letter above has a capital form, and you should keep the accent on capitals. Dropping accents from capitals is an old typewriter habit; modern style guides for most languages, including the official French and Spanish academies, recommend keeping them.
Sorting and searching Hawaiian text
Computers sort accented letters by code point unless told otherwise, which can put them after z. Use a locale-aware sort (for example localeCompare with the Hawaiian locale in JavaScript, or a Hawaiian collation in your database) so lists follow Hawaiian alphabetical order.
